This is one of  my favorites, these Saskatoons were picked right from my uncle and aunts place at Island Lake, AB.
 Major Berry Farm.
Nothing like farm fresh, to top off anything.

Preserves & Prices White Chocolate Raspberry & Kahlua Jam

This delicious concoction is a triple threat and should not be sampled by the weak of heart.
After trying the (WCRK) jam folks have actually became sweeter and easier to get along with.
It's that GOOD.

Preserves & Prices Strawberry Marmalade

This is so good on ice cream as well. Plain Vanilla will never be the same after a dollop of this sweet treat.

Preserves & Prices Lil's Sour Cream Pickles

This is a friends old family recipe and we are honored to be allowed to use it . One taste and you'll be hooked.

Preserves & Prices Chipotle Salsa

This is Vicki's Famous Salsa.
 People have been telling her for years she should be selling it, & she would make a million.
Well here it is, one try and it will be a staple in your home.

Preserves & Prices Apricot Conserve

August is here and have we been busy.
Vicki has been showing Darcy the ancient art of canning, LOL.
We have been washing, chopping, mashing, stirring and bubbling up the most delicious perseves.
All the raspberries and saskatoons we use are from the local: Major Berry Farm at Island Lake( a little plug for my dear uncle and aunt) 
We also of course have been making Vicki's Famous Gourmet Salsa.
 I have told her for years that it is so good that she should sell it so here we go...
In addition to the custom totebags we are now selling homemade groumet perserves and custom aprons to our, vickors 1/2 in the bag creations.

Darcys Health update: Miracles Happen" I'm Proof"

I would just like to update all my family and friends that have supported me through this most difficult time.
I have not had a platelet or hemoglobin transfusion since February 2012.
Since then I have steadily increased my blood levels.
As of July 10/2012, they are in "NORMAL RANGE."
 It has been decided that the bone marrow transplant will be put on hold and I thank my lucky stars everyday for that.
 I am slowly gaining back my energy and strength and hope that this devastating illness will be put on the shelf, permanently.
It is hard to put into words the gratitude that I feel everyday for all the support I have been given and the second chance at this wonderful life.

This tote is the original prototype, even before the cheer totes. this is named after Darcy's daugther Jordan who has an affinity to seahorses and owls.

This was one of the first bags that Darcy designed for her friend Vicki.  "You can't be in the tote bag making business with out owning one of your own tote bags."
It is a hand appliqued Celtic knot, on a vibrant fuscia and purple background.Inside pocket is just the right size for the cellphone.

 This Tote/Backpack bag was inspired by Darcy's oldest niece, Piper J.
She is 7 years old and has taken up baseball for the summer, she throws her ball and glove into her handy tote and off she goes.


This bag also converts into a backpack quickly.(Picture is unavailable as this bag has already been delivered to its happy home in Chetwynd, BC.)

This tote bag/backpack design was inspired by Darcy's neice Heidi.
She is 5 years old and a new soccer player this year and also attends payschool. She uses this convertible bag for shoes, sunscreen, bugspray and of course her playschool art projects.
 This tote is smaller than usual size to
 fit the smaller customer.
( with a quick unsnap, unzip, and snap, snap this easily converts in a backpack)

first day on the new blog,

Hi all, I am going to periodically update my health situation on the blog so here goes, I haven't had a platelet transfusion in 26 days and the count is holding at 21-23. This is far from normal but a very good results considering my aplastic anemia. I am feeling very well other than some thyroid issues and plan to go and see my friend for a week in Grande Prairie. Thanks and be well, Darcy
